Hello Constance Kay

I think that all of the cards are so very beautiful and I would love to be an artist for you, I have always had a great passion for designing cards and perhaps if you get a chance you can take a look at my cards, I am very new to this business and I am really enjoying it.
Thank you so much in advance and have a lovely day.

Regards

Polite disagreement and different points of view are always welcome on the Stationers Guild. There are many economic models for designers and artists to follow. What works for one may not work for another. Clearly, doing everything yourself (design, production, merchandising and distribution) allows one to keep a bigger piece of the pie. Nevertheless, working all fronts is often an enormous distraction to the artist's primary interest: design. I am thrilled that you have found a model that works successfully and that you are now able to market your artistic skills in a way that is both financially rewarding and creatively satisfying.

I have to respectfully disagree here. I am very familiar with the Constance Kay line and I feel that her greeting cards are a far cry from "art" and hardly worth the high price tag. The are priced high because she takes a 30-40% cut of the wholesale price of all her artists' cards which forces her to price them so high. How do I know this? I was one of her artists several years ago.

Thanks Dawn. Sorry for the mistake. Agree that Erica is "terrifically talented" and thrilled that she is able to share her artistic passion with those who love finely designed greeting cards. We wish her well and happy that she is having a ball!

Just wanted to note a couple of corrections! My sister is one of the artists featured below and her name is actually Erica DiPaolo and hers is the first image. She is terrifically talented and has a huge range of gorgeous cards. Being on Constance Kaye's roster has kept her very very very busy this year with orders -- she is having a ball! Thank you for featuring her here. :)

She is a pioneer in presenting unique and beautiful handmade cards worldwide and a lovely person to boot. And like her name, she has been a constant in the field for over 20 years. We love her.
