Although I agree that the "tweeting" of John Quincy Adams' diary is a little odd at best, it is, however, bringing a historical figure to new light in the minds (some minds anyway) of techno nerds and tweeting teens who might not have never known who he was and his place in history.
There is such a place for everything in this world and technology is no exception. As a lover of books and a novice bookbinder, I've found that I have a place for digital medium in my life. But not at the expense of the real articles. I find that these intangible sets of binary code that are so easily transportable make me cherish what I can touch, hold and gaze upon so much more enriching and "valuable in my life.

An exceptionally hearty bravo to this blog. I refuse to buy a kindle and continue to purchase books though I have no room for them. I use a digital camera, print the best photos for my album then delete them and the losers. I shall not have a Facebook page or tweet, ever.
