What type of social stationery do you offer?

Guild member stores carry a variety of boxed stationery products from leading companies around the world. These stores offer fold-over notes, cards and sheets in a variety of colors, sizes and designs. While some customers find our boxed products sufficient for their needs, most prefer personalized stationery. The staff at Guild member stores is highly experienced at helping our clients sort through the various paper options, printing processes, font and monogram styles, motifs and envelope linings to create their custom stationery. Guild members continue to believe that the civility and intimacy of the hand-written note continues to be one of the most elegant and personal forms of communication.

Do you carry “Thank You” notes?

Lamentably, yes. For reasons that continue to elude us, some believe that a fold-over note with the words “Thank You” embossed on the cover is the only permissible form of a “Thank You Note”. Guild members encourage their clients to invest in personalized stationery which is a far more elegant way of saying “thank you” yet flexible enough to send birthday or anniversary best wishes and write personal notes to friends and associates.

Do men and women use different stationery papers?

While traditionally women have used fold-over notes and sheets and men have predominantly used cards for personal correspondence, these traditions are changing. Women, particularly professional women, often prefer the heavier paper stock of correspondence cards. Furthermore, there are some intriguing and contemporary designs that tend to work well for both males and females. Ornate monograms still retain their seductive attractiveness on fold-over notes although, here again, some new designs incorporate both initials and motifs work well for both sexes.
